The Achiever Scholarship

Madre Latina Organization Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of the 2023 Achiever Scholarship Application. This Scholarship Fund has supported Latinx students, high schools and college students from Waterbury, Connecticut who demonstrate academic excellence, civic engagement, and leadership in their community despite their financial need or immigration status. We have set a minimum GPA requirement of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale, to ensure that academic excellence remains a cornerstone of our selection process.

The Achievers Scholarship Program is a culturally responsive student success initiative that provides Latinx students, other high school students and college students with support to help student to achieving their college career goals and fulfilling our mission of increasing leadership.

Our Scholarship application for high school graduates graduating in June 2023 and college students is now available.

During the Achievers Gala in October the goal is to give 7 to 10 scholarships to Waterbury students.
